![]() ![]() I just attach that to the item until I have everything I need to pass it along. I use this for when I have to collect info and send it on. You can set reminders, assign due dates, add comments/attachments to the list item. You can sync your flagged items/emails to it and voila, you now have all your emails that need action auto added to your to do list. ![]() Everything is out of the inbox and into the designated folder. I use this once I have completed a task/assignment/project. To sort through your mass of emails> right click message> find related messages> choose messages in conversation OR from specific sender> select what you need and file away or archive. I use categories to color code emails and appointments, create rules for the office junk mail (daily newsletter, mass emails), create tasks or appts. Hope these help someone else in this community as well! I just discovered this feature today, and found it to be really helpful for two reasons - one being that I don’t get as distracted listening, as I do when reading a long wall of text, and secondly, when I hear an email read aloud by the robot voice, it helps me not take things so personally (and play into my RSD, and the voice in my head telling me that all of my secretly coworkers hate me). There is a button in the upper right hand corner of the email labeled “read aloud” and you can choose between three voices, as well as change the reading spread. This is so helpful for when you realize after pressing send that you forget to add an attachment, sent to the wrong person, found a typo etc. I have recently moved to a job that uses Outlook for most everything, and have discovered two features that really help me.ġ) create a “rule” that delays your emails from sending for a short amount of time. ![]()
