With MLB The Show’s arrival to PlayStation Tournaments there’s never been a better time to take your game to the next level! These Ambassadors will be there to answer questions, share esports news & updates, and broadcast MLB The Show esports events! Scann, Yeyo, and Thuuuuney will be returning this year, while we welcome JX Gamiing & WizEnrique who will be representing the Spanish speaking community. To support the upcoming Championship Series and everything else in competitive MLB The Show 23, we’re teaming up with an exciting roster of esports Ambassadors. You’ll receive a check in notification five minutes before the event starts and then your match will begin automatically. Scroll to the Championship Series tournament card and select “Register”. To participate, simply visit the PS5 Tournaments section of the Game Hub on the day of the qualifiers. The remaining players in the top 75 will be eligible for a Wildcard Round, where four more players will earn a spot in the final. Place well in your bracket to earn points, climb the leaderboard, and qualify for the final! At the end of the qualifiers, the top 12 players will be invited to the live broadcasted finals on September 28 – October 1. Qualifiers begin on August 19th, utilizing the dynamic bracketing system of PS5 Tournaments and will cap competition at 32 participants for each bracket. The series will have eight qualifiers hosted on PS5 Tournaments. The marquee event will feature three stages and $50,000 in cash prizing. The Show Championship Series is MLB The Show 23’s pro-level event, rebuilt from the ground up and hosted through PlayStation Tournaments. Players can participate across multiple game modes and earn prizes just for playing the game like they normally do.
